PCQ Alphabet Technical Note

Creation Story.

1. I looked at 5 cursive fonts and chose the prettiest one.

2. The letters had wide and narrow points. I cleaned up the letters so the line was always 1 pixel wide.

3. The letters had to connect to make design continuous. I redrew those connectors.

4. Some letters look different in the beginning, middle, and end of the word. I found and redrew those.

5. I put red and blue dots and digitized it in Make_Pattern.

6. Using simple math, my husband Mike Morell wrote a program that shifts letters so they form a word.

Help needed.

I hope you like this project and might be interested in contributing.

The program is written in C and was compiled using CygWin. When installed on other computers it complains about necessary libraries.

I would love to make it available for everyone.

If you know how to make it a standalone Windows application contact me, please.
