Flower 1: small one.
1. Stitch 5 times from side to side according to the picture.
2. Ruche it, form a flower on a background.
3. Applique it.

Flower 2: just petals.
1. Stitch about 20" of ribbon.
2. Ruche it.
3. Baste middle of the flower on the background.
3. Form a circle around the middle with ruched ribbon.
4. Applique one side of the circle to a middle and another to the background. |
Flower 3: spiral.
1. Stitch about 40" of ribbon.
2. Ruche it.
3. Starting from the center form a spiral.
4. Applique this spiral on a background. |
Another type pf flowers is made from circle
1. Cut 5" circle.
2. Mark and stitch around turning raw edge. |
3. Ruche. |
4. Position flower on a background.
5. Applique petals.
6. Stitch through fabric in a middle. |
Finished flower. |
Another flower.
This one has less petals than previous, is little bigger because it was gathered lighter, and less even because it was not marked. |
